LEAP THEN LOOK Secondary School and A Level Workshops

SECONDARY AND A LEVEL

Our workshops are tailored to your students’ interests and course aims, to enhance and enrich existing curriculum provision. Workshops offer students references to diverse artists, new ways of working, techniques and skills. Students will be introduced to using cross-disciplinary approaches to explore their ideas giving them a taste of methods and processes explored in an art school environment, through supporting independent learning and encouraging individual enquiry and critical thinking. Our workshops will help to develop students’ confidence, self-esteem and raise their aspirations.

We will discuss directly with you what will best extend, challenge and inspire your students and the ways we can support the work you and they are already engaged in. Our aim will be to enable them to create bold and high quality new work which can be used as part of their exam and FE/HE submissions.

Workshops can focus on:

Construction and assemblage
Photography and film
Performance
Installation
Collaborative methods
Improvisation
Cross-disciplinary approaches
Producing high-quality documentation
